Accessibility
Aged Care Australia has been designed with a number of features to help people with particular needs, such as people with deteriorating eyesight, to use the site. The accessibility features available include:
- Text size changing. Aged Care Australia enables you to change the size of the text on the site using the links available at the right-hand side/top of the page. Once you have selected your text size all pages on the website will be displayed in that text size. You can change your preferred text size at any time.
- Accessible pages. Aged Care Australia has been designed to comply with the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines V1.0 at Priority Level 2, making the site usable for a wide range of people with special needs and for users using software such as text browsers and screen readers.
- Access keys. Aged Care Australia makes it easy to navigate the site using the keyboard by defining a number of access keys or keyboard shortcuts to particular pages on the site and to particular parts of a page.
